Josiah and Rachel are doing well. Thanking the Lord for His care.
“I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works, my soul knows it very well.” (Psalm 139:14)
Josiah means God is our savior and our help.
We also like the name Josiah because he was the Jewish child king who found God’s Word (they’d literally forgotten about the Bible) and started following it.
He’s JJ for short (not Joe).
He weighed 3.9 kg (8lb 9oz).
So happy Josiah’s here and it’s over for Rachel.

We played Empires at the leaving party we had for Joshua and Bethany – they’re in Zambia for eight weeks, and then they’ll be moving back to Whangarei.
Here’s a time lapse Dad made of the two games.
It’s better if you watch it in HD on Vimeo.

Did you have chocolate chip chocolate pancakes with hot fudge sauce and whipped cream for breakfast?
No you didn’t, because Becky just invented it! Oh yeah!
That’s why you wish you were staying at Fossie Park.
July 2nd, 2011me and Jacob and Jamie
Jacob and Jamie flew back to the States yesterday after a six week visit here. They’re going to be raising support so they can come back and minister here full time. Pray for them, the country needs these two with their commitment to serving the Lord.
June 10th, 2011we so excited
On the way down to Hastings we stopped in Taupo for lunch (I think between us we managed to sample every fast food shop in the place.) In the freezing Lake Taupo breeze we were starting to wonder why we had all got thickshakes and slushies.
